About the Event

It's Time to Step Into the Beat and be Energized!

Are you ready to bump and grind?

Movement is important, it releases endorphins and helps keep you active and healthy.

GK Hampton is hosting a virtual one-hour Zumba workout session with Justine Ford, a Registered Nurse and Fitness Instructor via Zoom.

Get your groove on even if you've got two left feet. Let Justine show you the basics and more. All you need is the willingness to move and have fun. All levels are welcome.

Join us on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 3PM PST / 4PM MDT / 6 PM  EST.

Proceeds will go towards the Livelihood Project for PNAA GK Village in Bulacan, Philippines.

About Justine Reyes-Ford, RN, BSN, BA

Justine Ford is a registered nurse committed to community service. One of the causes she supports is Gawad Kalinga ("to give care")  A health and wellness advocate, she has regular Zumba classes at the Philippine Cultural Center in Hampton, VA.

Because of her awesome leadership and passion for community service, she has been appointed to the Health Service Board of Virginia Beach last January,  where she will represent the Asian community.

About PNAA GK Village Community Center

Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA)  GK Village is a community of 50 families who were awarded homes in Bulacan.  PNAA did not stop at building homes. They have also conducted health fairs. In 2018, the women at the village expressed the need for a livelihood program to augment the families' income. The PNAA Livelihood Center is envisioned to be a venue for training and actual livelihood projects to benefit the community.
